This week I made my portfolio for the Winter Project. I chose the photos that I thought were best among my four drafts and tried to maintain cohesiveness between my photos, whether by color, vibrancy or silhouette strength and type. In some cases I edited photos I chose from older drafts to improve them and make them work better together. The photos are separated between those that have softer colors in the first five and more aggressive and vibrant colors in the last five.

Winter 4
This week I made my fourth batch of silhouettes for my Winter project based on the Starn Twins. For this batch I focused on the effect from the color in background on the silhouettes of the trees I collected. Using different shades and different colors, I created a variety of color blends that I thought added to the vibe and connotation of the silhouettes in the photos. I also tried to increase the sharpness of the silhouettes and control the parts of the photo in focus in my photographing and through editing.

Winter 3
This week I worked on the third batch of my silhouette Winter Project. Instead of trying to change the variety of the objects I used for my photos, I changed the organization and complexity the objects that I did use. I also experimented with the contrast between the silhouette and the background, and added textures in some cases to give the photos a different feeling or connotation. For next week, I would like to potentially work on improving my editing choices with the texture, the background and their contrast with my silhouettes.
